My husband, being from Tennessee, when we went back to visit, all he could talk about was White Castle… I couldn’t even eat one of them. He was so pissed 😂 I guess it’s what you grow up with. Remember Burger Chef? Little charbroil burgers? I’m sure they were terrible in retrospect, but I’d give anything to have one now.

I was so disappointed when I first tried a White Castle slider in the actual restaurant, and it tasted the exact same as the grocery store joints..smh. Regardless, this actually looks decent, and I rank White Castle burgers a couple steps above Burger King’s burgers.

Fun fact: My wife and I once did a road trip across the US when it was still a safe country. We stopped at a White Castle just to use the bathroom, ended up buying a few burgers, and liked them so much that we went back three times in two days. They made me sick, and to this day I can still remember the taste of White Castle burgers as I threw up on the side of the freeway. Now, the very idea of pulling over on an American highway scares me to death. I can’t even imagine stopping there, let alone vomiting, without fearing I would get shot by a cop or some random person or thrown in prison.

Slider w/ cheese … but… ask for a fried egg on it. You may never be able to eat one without it. I certainly cannot. With the all day breaky menu, I ask for egg on my sliders, and hash brown rounds instead of fries.
